SPIRAL

A deserted beachy cove on spurn, drissle ,cold and windy too. Just how I like it. A spiritual feeling of solitude.

out photographing some of the concrete structures, signs and symbols of another era, still strongly emotive even now, 20th century henge to a modern power.

Spurn, monday 27th August 2007

all thoughts of art were over shadowed by the unfolding rescue by the lifeboats fron Spurn and Grimsby as the lifeboatmen got into trouble themselves whilst saving lives, overturned boats, fire on the yatch.
All turned out well in the end.
Always a big thankyou to those who risk their lives for us regardless of the perils ahead.

Nice start to the day, turned to rain at lunchtime.
I found this large, Convolvulus Hawk-moth on a post halfway along the point, beautiful colours.

Sunny and bright, a nice change from all the rain.
created quite a few pieces on the beach.
Chance for me to make a last search for float pieces to go in the spiral at 20-21 gallery, Scunthorpe next week.
